Orly Cosmic FX - Space Cadet Swatches

After admiring hundreds of pictures of Orly's Space Cadet, I really wanted one of my own but it was sold out everywhere!!! I made a friend of mine check a lot of stores for this one polish [surprisingly, she is still a friend, even after the ordeal.]. Anyway, I finally located one bottle online and here it is!

Darling Diva Polish in Unbridled Avarice

 People at my work place think I am some nail genius who comes with unique ideas all the time. In
reality, I have just been layering polishes and nothing else. Unbridled Avarice (Hence forth will
be called UA)is a multi-coloured-holographic-glitter but it is major-ly purple(My favourite shade!).

Last year, I had ordered a whole bunch of polishes and a friend of mine had brought them along while coming down to India. I actually asked her to not bring her any clothes if the space for polishes needs to be compromised upon as I could easily lend her clothes (Disregarding the height and the size difference but then again, I could have just taken her shopping).

Anyway, I have just used only few polishes from that stash. I have already reviewed Orly Gumdrop and I got 5-6 Kleancolor metallic polishes as they stamp nicely(or so I have heard).

Fimo Canes - What Are They Anyway And How I (Mis)Use Them

I was jobless or as they say, between jobs, when I used all my time to research on web shopping portals/ online shopping sites/ e-tailers or whatever it is that you call them!

On one such spree, I came across Fimo sticks which are made from non-toxic polymer except, I would have described them as stickers which could be sliced in desired thickness and used anywhere.

They were also reallllllllllllllly cheap, specially in comparison to nail stickers which had glue on their back and I figured, I could manage without glue, right?

I have been lazing around a lot lately, hence, no posts. I got this Revlon as a part of trio ( I got 3 nail enamels at the price of two).On a very unrelated note, our electricity bill is 3400 INR this month without using a/c and nobody has an idea how we managed so much! Diana of London Nail Varnish in 14 Burgundy - Swatch and Review

This polish is the ultimate example of how you can not go by the shade swatches/pictures on the websites/companies page.  Diana of London's City Glamour range has a shade 14 Burgundy, which is shown as a metallic purple colour Everywhere. I bought this from Med Plus Beauty but everywhere I have checked, they show the same pretty purple picture!

BeYu Nagellack ( Nail varnish) in 381 Royal Shimmer - Swatch and Review

This is my first ever nail polish from BeYu  and I just could not find any swatches except for one shade known as Brilliant Shiraz , which was gorgeous and not available!  After a bit of research, I zeroed in on 381 Royal Shimmer ( what's really weird is that the bottle carries only the number 381 and no name but Med Plus Beauty, where I got this from, decided to give it a name).

Lakme True Wear Nail Color - 501 Mocha Fizz Brown Review and Swatches

I am not a fan of the brush that comes with Lakme nail colors. I mean why can't they make a brush which is in control and not act like a sprinkler system? Although, on a comparative level, the brush of Mocha Fizz Brown was better. I bought this when I was going through a ' I want to find all the nude shades that I can get' phase but this one is on the shimmery side.

For past some days, white polish has been stuck in my mind. Nothing makes your stamping pop-out like black and white. I already had a black and was looking for a white creme. I have been buying a lot of cremes lately and they are the only thing that make me happy. Anyway, after a lot of swatch hunting and research, I bought a white polish except I shouldn't have! I got a Viviana Nail Lacquer in Snow White which was a white creme.

I wanted to try Diana of London polishes for quite some time but on my past few shopping trips, I would end up picking something random( maybe I should start making a list of polishes I want, that will sort things out). Anyway, I read their description on a shopping site and in the description it said, " Enriched with Vit E and calcium" and I just had to buy it!Also, they were on a  22% discount which helps, right?

Stamping With Konad Image Plate m 70 and Revlon Silver Screen!

I have been working on my stamping as well as looking for polishes which stamp well AND are available in India. Konad is great but  carrying a bunch of special polishes only for stamping is tedious.Anyway, so I have been trying a lot of polishes and a lot of nail polishes work with the bigger designs, it is the smaller designs which refuse to work with the Indian polishes.

I have stamped with Revlon Silver Screen that I bought as a trio on Lakme True Wear Mauve 421.

Maybelline Colorama Laranja Citrico is basically spring on a budget. I have been lusting after a lot of polishes which are either not available in India or their prices are exorbitant(in India, at least). I have pledged ( for as long as it may last) to stay on a budget and I am not *that* crazy, really!

When I got the Bootie Babe package, I wanted to try Electric Lemon first due to my affinity for the word electric. Now, this is the colour you should be wearing on your nails if you want your guy to notice your nails. I think the blindest of the boyfriends/husbands will react to this shade! This is the thing you should be wearing to prove all those "Oh! but I don't notice such things, you know that darling"'s wrong. There are a lot of people who have qualms about some shades not looking good on them, I am not one of them.A lipstick might wash you out but nail polishes just do two things: They either look good on you or They look absolutely fabulous on you;)

Bootie Babe cosmetics is a company founded by Mark O'Hara  who worked for Macromedia  after graduating from college and then he moved on to opening his own digital design house. Then, in 1995, he formed a 15-piece funk dance band called SuperBooty, hence, the name of the cosmetic company.
