I have just had Paneer Tikka Biryani from Faaso's and after my specifically telling the guy taking the order,"I want the biryani spicy.", he paid no heed!  It's not it was stale or something was wrong with it but it was tasteless and I just don't approve of piling on the calories without good enough taste to justify it. Moving on, I have found my perfect companion...for shopping I mean and we have been spending a lot of time browsing shops both online and offline. Here are just some of the things that I bought.

I have not been posting a lot lately because of something called life which gets in the way time and again. Unbelievable? I know!  I went window shopping with two friends and  although, I had no plans of buying anything, we came back with these (and some shoes but that's another WAIB post for later!).

If you have even given my blog a cursory glance, you are bound to notice my lurveeee for shoes. I have not written any "Why Am I Broke" post for a very long time !( This is my fancy name for haul posts, in case you didn't know). No, this piece of information is not related to the actual topic.

 Now, these shoes themselves were not expensive, at all but I was broke to begin with!  I went in search of the nude flats by Khadim (which you can see here and yes, they are worth seeing!)  but they were out of

Shoes Which Broke My Heart!

Few days ago, I wrote about my shopping experience with BeStylish (You can visit the site here) I bought a yellow pair from some brand named Alpha. I have never really heard of that brand but thanks to the retail chains and online stores, we do come across various brands we've never heard of!Anyway, these shoes were cute and came in such pretty colours. I found a yellow one which was available in size 8 (I usually wear size 7 or 7.5 but I thought its better to get one size up!). Hmm, the shoe didn't fit  and I had to return it but  only a few days ago when I realised, those people had sent me a size 38 shoe instead of a 41 i.e size 8. I knew the shoes were not my size but since no size was mentioned "inside" the shoes, I didn't pay much attention to them.

Anyway, those shoes were pretty and even though, I don't have them anymore and couldn't even wear them, I took some pictures for ogling.

Online Shopping with BeStylish - Review ,Wedges & More

I think almost all of you know I have a shoe hoarder syndrome. I buy and buy and buy.Sadly, (or should I say luckily for my pocket?) my shoe size prevents me from buying all the beauties that I see. It's kind of hard to buy pretty shoes when the SA tell you to check out the Men's section just for a pair of flip flops?Although, I don't mind it as much now, in fact, I have started asking questions like, "What's the last shoe size in this brand?", "Which is the last size  you stock?", etc. Let me tell you one thing, feet too big or feet too small, there are always pretty and/or sexy shoes out there waiting to be found.So, don't you ever let those SA make you feel bad about your shoe size because they're only trying to cover up the fact that their shop doesn't have it.

Now, coming back to Bestylish.com even browsing the site makes me happy. I have spent a lot of time drooling over a lot of shoes but couldn't  get myself to buy anything.Few days ago I saw a yellow coloured shoe which made my heart melt and the price made me even happier. I went ahead and bought it.

I have not been posting much because my laptop has suddenly decided that it has had enough of me and has refused to undergo any more torture.On top of that I suddenly decided that I needed to upgrade everything possible, talk about madness huh?!But it is my duty to tell show you what I bought(I think you people have more idea about how much I spend than *all * my family put together!)

Now, Goodlife.com and FirstCry.com are two sister sites having the same checkout, which basically means buy your kids some toys and buy yourself some makeup and tell your husband only about the toys;) I'm just saying.......Seriously, this Firstcry is the first online store catering to the needs of would-be Moms, maternity clothing and kids.
Btw, they are based in Pune, Maharashtra( Zee and Parul are you people listening?).

Why Am I Broke? Well, Not Really!

For a change I am not really broke because a) I didn't pay the bill and b) I didn't buy anything expensive. I bought a night-shirt which was really cute and two sweaters which I haven't photographed and because I am feeling lazy today as well, here's the picture:

Why am I Broke- The Story of Books!

These books have been bought in Delhi Book Fair last August. On the venue, I saw a lady roaming around with a trolley bag about the same size as that of a cabin luggage and I just raised an eyebrow. By the time we were done shopping, I had new respect for the lady because dragging those bag back home seriously required a coolie:|  This is a * part* of the haul since I don't have all the books with me right now.
Also, some of them were on hugggggggggggge discount.

Anyway,coming to the real topic, I am on the verge of being disowned, not only by my family but also by few other friends.Why? Because they don't want to foot the bill no more! Everybody has started telling me how much do you shoppppp?(As if I know!). I have even half started expecting people walking on the street to stop me and tell me, I need to cut down on my bills.No, this has not happened,YET.
So, I am trying to mend my ways and I will show you some of the old stuff that I got.
I was looking for a really cheap phone, preferably a dual sim and looked around a bit and the best deal I found was on Flipkart.

Why I am Broke: Introduction

This is actually a haul post but calling a haul, a haul is no more realistic! Hence, the new name, Why I am Broke!' So, what do you think about the new name?

This post is called introduction mainly because I bought some very daily routine kind of stuff.

Here's  what I bought:

•   Lux Peach and Cream Shower Gel (Mainly because it had a loofah free with it!)
• Vaselin Total Moisture Cream (The lotion was not impressive at all but the cream was better and it was 40 gm for 38 INR)
• Jolen Bleach (I have no frigging idea why I picked this up because I don't even *uses* a bleach!)
• Himalaya Anti Hair Loss Cream (I wanted to try this for a long time. That Total Repair 5 shampoo has not done my hair any good!)
• Nivea Whitening with Licorice extracts (It had a Lip Gloss free with it, how could I not buy:P)
• Vega Professional Foundation Brush PB-17 from Violetbag because they had the 400 INR brush for 340 INR and it would have been criminal to not buy it. This brush looks like  #187 from MAC but I still have to see how well it works!

Birthday Haul?

I didn't pay a single penny in purchasing anything in *this* haul. Even though I am calling it a Birthday haul; it was a little late for this year's birthday and a little too early for the next year's! This is technically Christmas time, so, I will be doing haul or online shopping posts for some time(They were overdue anyway!) Now, I was not sure about buyincoins.com because it will involve international shipping but when I went to check the prices, I was blown-over! Dirt- cheap doesn't begin to cover it and to makes the matters worse(for my credit card, of course) there was free shipping to India. I am pretty sure god wouldn't have been happy with me if he came to know that I hadn't shopped from here *specially* after the prices.

Chic Bangles from Chique!

It was really hard resisting the urge to use the word chic in my post! Trust me. Chique is a brand based in Kolkata and they have limited number of stores as of now. I went to their South City Mall outlet with friends because one of my friends wanted to buy something for her sister for an upcoming wedding. I had no intention of buying anything as I was already over budget for the month. I found this set of two bangles for somewhere around 100 bucks and I tried them on and they fit!!( I have hugeeeeeeeee hands, ideal for slapping somebody or holding a lot of stuff but not meant for jewelery!) I saw these and grabbed these like my life depended on it:P
