I buy shoes to keep myself happy, but I do have to pay the rent and eat; so, I look for deals online.
Moreover, thanks to e-commerce website, I don't have to move out of the house to look at shoes and I just have to go to work in order to get them. Anyway, I have made a lot of blunders in shoe-shopping even though I do a lot of research before buying any new brand online. To make the matter worse, more and more brands keep coming up with no standard sizing. I ended up buying some flats which were supposed to be size 41 but, they were size 38, at best.

This time, I did really need a pair of slippers because the one I have from Puma has this suction-kind of a sole which makes a ridiculous noise while walking on tiles. I still don't understand why would they sell slippers such as mine for INR 499. Although, when I bought it, I figured it would have a better grip but, I slip more frequently compared to my normal rate.

Beige Ballet Flats

When my shoes from Catwalk gave up on me a lil' too quickly (considering they were worth 1395 or 1495 INR), I went in search of cheap flats which I could wear to work. Yes, there are people who dress up very nicely for work but I feel no such thing, hence, the search.

Anyway, I bought the shoes pictured above for INR 300 from MG Road, Pune and another black variant for the same price. The black one lasted for some 2-3 months which is just right for the price. Whaddya think?


Also, I cannot seem to find my (relatively) new and fabulous camera from Sony and lost items drive me crazy. Please pray that I find it.

I have been cutting down my shopping in general and shoe-shopping in particular. I have even started working on one shoe at a time so when I  eventually have to move, I know which shoe I can leave behind but the decision is still tough. Anyway, I don't exactly remember when I bought these but they were on discount and I don't have any pair which is quite like these.

Why am I Broke : Aiwaieen!

I have just had Paneer Tikka Biryani from Faaso's and after my specifically telling the guy taking the order,"I want the biryani spicy.", he paid no heed!  It's not it was stale or something was wrong with it but it was tasteless and I just don't approve of piling on the calories without good enough taste to justify it. Moving on, I have found my perfect companion...for shopping I mean and we have been spending a lot of time browsing shops both online and offline. Here are just some of the things that I bought.

Why Am I Broke : The Shoe(s) story!

If you have even given my blog a cursory glance, you are bound to notice my lurveeee for shoes. I have not written any "Why Am I Broke" post for a very long time !( This is my fancy name for haul posts, in case you didn't know). No, this piece of information is not related to the actual topic.

I am not a fan of flip- flops because they remind me of automata(which I hate) and they are make that annoying futter- futter sound. I had been abusing the last pair that I had for quite some time so, I had to get a new one.  Like my all other shoes/footwear post, I have to mention that my feet are not that big and why can't Pune stores stock the size 40?!

New Realflex From Reebok And My Thoughts!

I am not really a sport shoe kind of a person but these days I have been walking A LOT so I had to finally take my Reebok shoes out. As  a result, they are in a very bad shape, in fact one of the sole came out but since that happened in the past just after few days of buying it, I haven't paid much attention(Is it just me or the Reebok soles do come off very early? I have seen 2-3 case just like mine) Anyway, I have no pictures of me wearing the shoes because I was engrossed in weighing the pros and cons of  Realflex, so I will just show you how it looks from the website.

Also, what is with people in Pune, I have been told thrice till now to try out the footwear for men.Seriously, dude! I am only a Rbk 7/Adidas 8 (fluctuate between 40-41 depending on the fit), it is not like I am a size 10..hmph!

Shoes of the Day: Black Satin Ballet Flats!

I haven't done any shoe post in quite some time because I wanted some suitable time gap to elapse between two posts (so, that I don't come across as a nut case who's shoe obsessed, which ahem! I am, but who said you have to say it out loud?!)
I have developed some kind of obsession with ballet flats! Never before did I feel so compelled towards flats; heels held all my attention but now that I have to walk a lot and my abused used nude ballerinas from Khadim had given up on me; I really needed a new pair.

Let me be honest, I fell in love with the red variation of these satin flats but they were not available in my size so, I ended up buying this and as they say, life goes on.....
