Jute Slippers!
Yes.Well.Another Shoe post! Technically, these are slippers. I got these from an exhibition mainly for winter(This is my way of supporting arts & crafts!). Now,I won't call these cute but they're definitely *practical* and *warm*. In fact, I would place them only next to real fur slippers in terms of coziness( The thought of shaved off animal hair kind of freaks me out!).

My Black Square-Toed Heels From Khadim.
I wasn't planning on buying any more shoes because I ....errr... don't have any space for them but every time I find a shoe that fits my ( RBK- 7, Bata-7, UK- 40) feet, I start feeling like a thirsty person who found water in a desert. Khadim is a very affordable brand which actually lasts a long time. I bought my first pair from them last year (Click here to see it) and I have been abusing them ever since! The only problem is that they have limited number of stores but they're opening new ones all over India. They offer last shoe size 8 for females which is *cough cough* my shoe size.
The heel is square, so it distributes the weight quite evenly so you can wear these shoes for a long comfortably and it is winter time so your feet will be cozy too!
Price: 329 INR ( So, now you know why I bought these:P)

My Picks for the Winter From Vanilla Moon
In general, I like everything that Vanilla Moon makes but here are some of the shoes that I like better than the others! Since, winter is knocking on the the door, I thought I will pick shoes which will make you look chic but save your feet as well.
I love color blocks! These shoes, specially the pink one will make your feet look dressier. But these shoes won't go well with everything. Hence, we come to my next pick for the season,
Black Pumps! They never go out of season, they never look out of place! You can wear them anywhere and you can pair them up with anything. They were invented (according to me) to make life simpler!!
But you still have to work, so we move on to the perfect work shoes. They are comfortable so you can wear them whole day but they are still cute.
Are they not absolutely drool worthy? If you are looking for something a bit more formal, Vanilla Moon has "Honey" named slip ons but I personally don't prefer them over echo. Finally, we move on to the sexy boots! Vanilla Moon offers variety in boots too but I have found my soul-mate :P
Looking for the store in your city? Find them here
Your city is not there? Buy them Online at here!
Disclaimer: Nobody paid me to write this post( I wish they did, though)

Flats with Rounded Toes- Scandal
White flats, according to me are as essential as black shoes. The only problem with white shoes is maintaining them. It takes a lot of effort. These are flats which I purchased from Scandal The Shoe Shop. On a recent trip to Mumbai, I got these white ballet flats with rounded toes and a teardrop styled cut because I didn't have anything of that sort. I love shoes and no longer buy them out of necessity but because 'I don't have a particular variety'. Anyway, my feet are a Reebok 7, Bata 7 , UK size 40-41, you get the idea, right? It is hard to find shoes in my size but now, I know a few places which have shoes in my size and never forget to pay them a visit. I do feel sad when I can't buy the flea market stuff but life goes on....I say!
This is Scandal's shoe size 11. It has a silver coloured base and a black rubber sole. It looks like a variation of peep-toe to me.If you're going to Mumbai and have a shoe size problem or you just like buying shoes, you can check the store out.
These will keep your feet safe in winter.
Price: 899 INR

Ballet Flats From Khadim
These shoes are somewhere around a year old but I love them. These nude flats go well with everything and you can wear them everywhere. I like not having to worry about if my shoes are fit for the place or not.
These ballet flats are available upto size 8 (Indian shoe size). As you can see, these are size 8 shoes. My shoe size fluctuates between 7-8(Indian Size) or 40-41( UK Size) depending upon the cut of the shoes. However, there is always a little difference between the same sized shoes from various brands.
These are made of leather and are quite comfortable but they are still not meant for walking long long distances.
It has been about a year and I have worn these shoes quite frequently but they are still fine and very much wearable.
Price: 349 INR
Cons:
Khadim is not available everywhere. It's based in West Bengal but there are stores in selected cities all over India.

Must-Have Shoes For Winters
I have always been a little more inclined towards buying
shoes. You see, unlike clothes, your shoes never make you feel bad about
gorging on junk food for the past week. They are just like your soul mate,
except better, because they don’t ever talk back. Here are few of my
suggestions that will see you through the winters-
- Black Pumps- Because they go with everything! They have to be comfortable, round or semi-rounded toes. You can also opt for open or peep-toes with square heel of a comfortable height or kitten heels. With these, you won’t ever look out of place anywhere. They’ll even save you from cracked heels.
Figure
1Yabbie From Carlton
London Rs. 1995
- Nude/Red Flats- Red makes your feet look great but nudes will go with everything you might want to wear. Buy something which has a cushioned sole for comfort. Bows?Flowers?Crystals? Take your pick. You can buy them in any shade that you fancy like maroons, grays or blues but they will limit your choices.
Figure 2 Bea from Hush Puppies - $100
- Metallic Sandals- To team up with your dress, saree or whatever it is that you want to wear. They can be sequined or trimmed with satin in golden, silver or bronze shade. If you can find it, buy something with all the shades put together.

Figure 3 Mahina Carlton London- Rs 3495
- Boots- They can be ankle length or knee length or hip- length. They save your feet from the cold and you can wear them in the day or at night. One downside? They won’t go with everything. Depending on your preference, you can buy the heels, wedges or flats variations.
Figure 4 AS MOTO BOOTS From Hush
Puppies - $350
- Sneakers/Slip-ons- They have to be in some bright colour to make the dull winters appear brighter. They will keep the cold away, are comfortable and trendy.
