SOTD: Purple Faux Suede Peep Toe Ballet Flats

If there can be an Outfit of The Day(OOTD) and other such variations; there can be SOTD as well! Says who?Well, I do. Today's 'Shoe of The Day' is a purple ballet flat with a bow. I don't fancy bows much but I do love purple. At one point, I had to tell my sister to not let me buy *anything purple* even if she had to snatch it from my hands(I am pretty sure she had fun doing it too!). Well, we were out shopping and it was one bright and extremely sunny morning and I was walking around in these. It was fine but narrow toes are *still* narrow and when I put my foot in these, it felt like heaven!
(Oh! If you've not heard me mention (more like scream) my shoe size, it is Europe 40/41, US 9.5/10, Indian/UK 7 but then it came with the height!)

Don't mind the sand, I 'd worn it outside and had not cleaned it afterward!!

Pretty and Affordable Footwear in RED Under 1000!!

I have recently become obsessed with Red. I have even started buying things in red which I *never ever* thought I 'd use and one of them is shoes. I saw red wedges which had me hypnotized, seriously! On top of the hypnotic power of red, it is wedding season, so not buying red colored shoes is a crime...!!  Hence, this list of red footwear which is affordable so you don't feel guilty about not using it much.

Celebration Always From Bata

Living in India, it is a crime to not own a single Bata shoe. I won't say this about the bags but shoes you have to have. Since, this is festival and wedding season, you need a lot of party clothes and shoes. A lot of people don't bother about shoes, they'll just put on a black footwear thinking who'll look at them......well, I do and there are others like me out there too! What I like about Bata is that its great value for money and to this day at least *I* have not experienced any problem of shedding of the top layer, or the sole coming apart within two months of buying( This happened in case of Woodland but I won't get into that now)

Must-Have Shoes For Winters

I have always been a little more inclined towards buying shoes. You see, unlike clothes, your shoes never make you feel bad about gorging on junk food for the past week. They are just like your soul mate, except better, because they don’t ever talk back. Here are few of my suggestions that will see you through the winters-

• Black Pumps- Because they go with everything! They have to be comfortable, round or semi-rounded toes. You can also opt for open or peep-toes with square heel of a comfortable height or kitten heels. With these, you won’t ever look out of place anywhere. They’ll even save you from cracked heels.

• Nude/Red Flats- Red makes your feet look great but nudes will go with everything you might want to wear. Buy something which has a cushioned sole for comfort. Bows?Flowers?Crystals? Take your pick. You can buy them in any shade that you fancy like maroons, grays or blues but they will limit your choices.

• Metallic Sandals- To team up with your dress, saree or whatever it is that you want to wear. They can be sequined or trimmed with satin in golden, silver or bronze shade. If you can find it, buy something with all the shades put together.

• Boots- They can be ankle length or knee length or hip- length. They save your feet from the cold and you can wear them in the day or at night. One downside? They won’t go with everything. Depending on your preference, you can buy the heels, wedges or flats variations.

• Sneakers/Slip-ons- They have to be in some bright colour to make the dull winters appear brighter. They will keep the cold away, are comfortable and trendy.
