Once upon a time, when not many people read my blog, I wrote a post on 10 ways to reduce hair fall, I mentioned a Wooden Bristle brush there but I never got around to getting one for myself. Every time I would go shopping, I would buy end up buying other things but never this.

For something which is only a bunch of dead cells,I sure am obsessed about my hair, there is just no other way to describe it! I initially wanted to get the self heating mask by Purederm but it was sold out so I settled for the Vital Radiance Hair Mask in Honey And now, I am glad or what!
Meant for: For colour treated, bleached or permed hair.(I have done none of these but I just figured if it will do good to bleached or permed hair, it will definitely make my hair happy)

Trichup Hair Fall Control Oil Review
I had heard a lot of praises for the Trichup Hair Oil from the Complete Hair care Range. I found the site which sold Trichup products online.
I decided to buy the hair oil from the Hair Fall Control Range. I have
been using it for about a month. The oil comes in a 100ml flip top
bottle.
Ingredients:
My Experience:
I had high hopes from this oil. First of all, 100 ml won't last long if you use it as frequently as they say.The smell is not very strong but it does linger on for quite some time. I apply the oil at night and leave it overnight and wash it with L'Oreal Total Repair Shampoo, my hair has definitely become smoother. In fact, I have tried using no conditioner after shampooing and my hair still feels soft but the main purpose of this oil was reduction in hair fall and it hasn't fulfilled that purpose. I wanted this product to work so, I have been using only this oil and no other products.Maybe it will work for people who use no hair oil usually but I would not count on it.
Price:Rs 100 for 100 ml @ Vasu store 95 INR
Pros:
My Rating: 5/10 ( It did serve half the purpose by making my hair smooth but didn't serve the purpose of preventing hair fall)
Recommendation:
Although, hair fall can be caused from variety of reasons and this oil doesn't cover my reason but it would be a safer bet to invest your money in the complete hair care range but let me tell you I have not tried it yet!
PS- If the oil suddenly starts working, you will see an update.

L'oreal Total Repair 5 Total Repairing Masque Review
I wanted to try it for quite some time but I still had some of my Revlon Flex conditioner left.I had a lot of expectations from this product. So, when I did finish up my bottle of conditioner, I practically ran to get this. I have not tried the conditioner from this series because I had my heart set on getting the masque. I have long straight normal hair, neither too oily nor too dry. Thanks to heat, humidity and pollution, it has turned limp and life-less.
Claims:
It claims to repair your hair and protect it from 5 signs of damage i.e. hair-fall, dull hair, dryness, roughness and split-ends.
Directions:
Apply on washed and towel dried hair. Keep for 2-5minutes and rinse.
My Experience:
I use it instead of a conditioner not with a conditioner.I just take a small amount of the masque because too much of it makes the hair sticky and I don’t use it on the roots because regardless of what the label says, if there are chemicals, then it is not fit for your scalp. I was having a serious split-end problem and this did help ( I did get the split-ends trimmed). I no longer have that problem. I have seen no effect on hair fall, though. It does make my hair feel soft but nothing out of ordinary. All in all, I feel it is a thicker kind of conditioner. It does last a lot longer than normal conditioner would because of its thickness.
Price: Rs. 325 for 200gm
Pros:
·
No more split-ends.
·
Small amount goes a long way.
·
Easily available.
Cons:
·
Tub packaging is not hygienic.
·
Nothing miraculous or extra-ordinary about it!

10 Ways To Reduce Hair-Fall
From my past experience, I have realised that you can never really stop hair-fall. However, you can reduce the amount of hair-fall. There are few tips which will reduce the amount of hair-fall and make it healthier.
- If you've split-ends, get a haircut of twice or at least 1.5 times the length of your split ends.Suppose, your hair has split-ends which are about 1 inch , so cut at least 1.5 inches of hair.
- Don't brush your hair often, twice a day is more than enough. Remember how we rubbed a plastic scale on our heads and it was able to attract bits of paper due to static electricity? Don't? Well, you can try it now! Anyway, same thing happens when you brush your hair very often. This static charge makes your hair rough.
- If you have to brush often, use a wide spaced comb or brush to entangle your hair and then use a finer-tooth comb if you need.
- Start entangling your hair from the bottom and move towards the scalp. This has been the most effective trick in reducing hair breakage and hair-fall.
- If possible, switch to a brush with rubber or wood bristles which are rounded. If you can't find these, you can use a plastic/ fiber comb or brush with rounded tips from some standard company. I like Vega and Roots and you can get them easily from any supermarket chain.
- Everyone knows this but I will still say it," Always condition your hair after shampooing it.
- When you oil your hair, apply some oil to the ends as well. I know how they say only the scalp is able to absorb it but the ends of your hair are older and rougher than the hair near the scalp, hence, you've to moisturize it so the shampoo doesn't make it very dry.
- If you've dandruff and you're tried all the popular shampoos likes Head & Shoulders, Clinic All Clear, etc, try a shampoo like nizoral or scalp. If these don't help, go see a dermatologist!
- Keep your scalp clean.Wash your brush at least twice a week or as frequently as you wash your hair.
- Trim your hair after every two months or so, that way your hair gets entangled less because you get rid of the oldest and the most damaged part of your hair i.e. the ends.
