SOS Organics Vanilla Lip Balm Review

I bought this lip balm because it was on discount. I think I bought it from Craftsvilla for 40-45 INR. I didn't really have any expectations so, it technically didn't let me down.

Lotus Raspberry Lip Balm Review

I like buying lip balms in different flavours. I bought this because I absolutely love raspberries. Sometimes, I even buy multiple units of the same flavours that I like, just in case, they run out of it or the company stops manufacturing them. I live in the constant fear that if I really start liking something, it will be discontinued( it has happened to me before).

I bought this lip balm because I was bored of strawberry one and I wanted to try something new. This was two years ago and I have been in love with it ever since.

What it claims:
The lip balm's highly active moisturising formula helps to repair dry, cracked and chapped lips and protects them from the drying effect of cold, dry winds of winter, making them looks look healthier and smoother.

Directions for Use:
Apply evenly to lips as necessary. Use twice daily.

Active ingredients:
Raspberry extract, honey, jojoba oil, almond oil, wheatgerm oil.

What it does:
If you have dry chapped lips, use the creamier lip therapy. These lip balms are more of a maintenance product which will protect your lips but if they are chapped or very dry, these balms are not effective. I love the smell, it smells very fresh and the balm looks almost edible.
In the tub, the balm looks very red but it just provides just a bit of sheen for me. The colour has the slightest tinge of red colour , when applied.

Price: When I bought it, it was Rs. 89.Now, it is Rs. 125.

Pros:
  • The smell of raspberry.
  • It has a very smooth texture.
  • The list of ingredients is full of good things. I feel very happy every time I look at it.
  • Keeps my lips moisturized for a long time.

Cons:
  • Tub packaging. You have to take out the balm using your fingers
  • Does nothing for chapped lips
