Fabindia Almond & Coconut Body Butter
reminds me more of a dessert than a body butter. Fabindia just forgot
adding sugar to this body butter which already smells like a coconut
toffee (those caramel and coconut ones!) ; if they had added sugar as
well, it would have belonged more to your dining table than to your
dressing table.
Ingredients:
Texture, Colour & Smell:
It's thick but you don't have to work hard to make the skin absorb it!
Smell is
divine. It smells like those coconut toffees that came with coconut
shavings(I loved them!).The smell doesn't linger on for neither is very
strong.
Colour is opaque white.
My Experience:
Among
the budget products, this body butter is definitely a winner. Fabindia
also has an avocado body butter but this almond and coconut body butter
with its smell scores! It didn't make my skin greasy but with the kind
of winter we were having, it was impossible for anything to be capable
of feeling greasy. Easily absorbed in the skin. No residues. The effect
lasted for somewhere around 8 hours if you bathe with a glycerin soap/
non-moisturising-fruity-kind of shower gel and 8+ if you use a thick
creamy wash.
Price: 225 INR for 100 ml (USD 5 approx.)
Currently, Fabindia's skin care products are not shipped internationally.
- Easily absorbed.
- Effects last long.
- Lovely smell.
- Affordable.
- No animal testing.
Cons:
- Parabens.
- Tub with screw lid and a stopper almost makes me not want to use it!
My Rating:8.5/10
Recommendation:
It is affordable, smells nice and even if you don't have a Fabindia
store nearby, you can buy it online. If body lotions are proving
insufficient, this is definitely worth a try.
